Did you come here just to take away my dreams? Are you here to fight a war?

Maybe you’re selfish and only thinking about your own happiness, maybe

we both want the same prize, the only one there is.

I can see you, even when you try to hide, even when you pretend not to exist, I still

see you. I feel your shadow as it follows the footsteps. I read your name between the 

lines. I’ve discovered hate whenever I hear your name. I don’t want you here, you’re not

welcome. You’ve lost your chance, now it’s my turn. Don’t interrupt my way to success.

Don’t cry when I win, it was just meant to be. Leave and never come back. Take the 

sweet scent you leave in the air with you, take the memories as well, burn them. 

FEELING HAPPY

You make me laugh like a child. You make me smile without having a reason.

I feel as if everything was in place when I’m with you. Even when I miss you I feel

happy, because I know that you are out there, that somehow you are part of my life,

and that sooner or later you’ll think of me too. I like this feeling. A kind of mature way

of thinking about us mixed with childish joy and crazy dreams, a calm but excited 

feeling. It’s falling in love, but falling in love for real. It’s believing it will last.
